| Chatterbox is a dynamic piece that pops, sizzles, and grooves. Cast in three loose sections, the work’s themes feature slithering, lyrical, and syncopated gestures. The central section features jazzy solos for the tenor and baritone saxophones, accompanied by piano and string bass. The final section is introduced by a raucous anthem, meanwhile the earlier themes return, intertwined, and close in jubilant triumph. |
